Biography

Hannah Parry is a versatile London-based recorder player and historical violinist. In 2022, she earned her Master’s degree with distinction from the Royal College of Music (RCM), where she was awarded the prestigious Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Rose Bowl and McKenna Prize for outstanding achievements in baroque performance. Her studies were supported by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and her instruments were funded by the Royal Philharmonic Society.

Currently studying classical and romantic violin performance at the Jeune Orchestre de l’Abbaye in France, under the guidance of Bojan Čičić, Hannah continues to refine her expertise across multiple repertoires. As a soloist and principal violinist, she has performed internationally, including leading roles at the Misiones de Chiquitos Festival in Bolivia and collaborations with renowned ensembles in the UK.

In addition to her solo work, Hannah is an active member of two chamber ensembles: Triple Fipple, a recorder trio, and Obsidian Baroque, which specialises in historical performance. These collaborations allow her to explore diverse musical contexts and bring early music to audiences in new and engaging ways. Her performances have taken her to prestigious venues such as the Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, Buckingham Palace, and Windsor Castle, and have included broadcasts on BBC Radio 3.
